Influenced by the hyper-curated, hidden away vinyl shops of Tokyo, Japan, their goal is to become your 'secret spot.'

Shady Rest Vintage & Vinyl, a woman- and minority- co-owned storefront at 1659 S. Throop, specializes in used records; vintage hi-fi audio components and equipment; cameras and accessories; and art, culture, and design books.The store’s entire inventory is hand-selected and curated by owners Nuntida Sirisombatwattana and Peter Kepha.
Sonorama Discos (Chicago)
Sonorama Discos is a DJ collective made up of Charly Garcia and brothers Eddy and Marlowe Baca, that for over ten years have been sharing their love and passion for vintage Latin sounds in all rhythms and genres. They've held several dj residencies around the city and have contributed to several indie radio shows including an ongoing regular program on Lumpen Radio based out of Bridgeport. In the past six years the collective have run a small independent record label with 10 releases to date featuring contemporary bands both locally and internationally.

Devante Jefferson, also known as Backpack Beatz, is a producer & DJ hailing from Milton, FL. Backpack has been DJ’ing for 10 years collectively, but just recently started using the crates he samples to DJ. A relatively new member of the Chicago vinyl community, Backpack’s only goal is to spread the vibe of good music with every set.
Kida is a south side purveyor of vibrant style expressed through fashion and soul music from all different eras. If it connects to the human experience and has some soul in it, you can find Kida spinning it on decks across the city!
Noshaluv was born and raised in Chicago and her roots are deeply seeded in Chicago House Muzik. This all began with a DJ named Rush. He introduced her to House Muzik taking Nosha to her first party at The Bismarck. Dancing was Nosha’s first passion. She blasted onto the underground house music scene partying at places like Medusa’s, Alcatraz, and other loft parties in Chicago. The evolution of playing records sharpened her skills over the years and now she plays around Chicago and abroad. Noshaluv continues to break barriers and overcome boundaries, playing dance music to rock and inspire your soul.
Nunya (fka Nunita Applebum) is a DJ, vinyl lover, and record shop owner from Chicago. When not running Shady Rest Vintage and Vinyl, she spins at various venues around Chicago. Her tastes are all over the places, so expect the unexpected with her set!
Regina Martinez, also known as selective listening, is a sound-centered artist based in Chicago. She will be spinning a pulse heavy collection inspired by her attraction to the experimental and sentimental.
